I’m going to post my favourite of the BBQ places I visited recently in Hamilton today. This is in hopes some of you choose to visit this weekend. My visit was to Lucky’s BBQ on George Street amongst a slew of other great restaurants on a road I think people over 25 sometimes forget about. I’m here to tell you old folks like me, it’s safe to go down in the Hess area, at least before 11pm when the cloud of vape haze builds and “Wooooo” girls show up. Old man attitude aside, @luckyshamont offers a great Brisket Sandwich. The pricing is a little higher than anticipated and they don’t offer a meat platter like I’d prefer but their flavours worked for me. I went with a friend and ordered the ribs, he got the sandwich and we just swapped halves and co-oped the meal creating our own platter. Patio season appears to still be on, for today at least. I’d recommend a walk down George to visit Lucky’s or any of the other awesome places there including @moodyshamont, @amigoshamont and @gownandgavel. -Todd
