Namu is my favourite restaurant in the city! We get asked by followers like you a lot where they should take their visiting friends to eat. My first answer is always @namu_restaurants in Dundas. They’re the perfect mix of unique food, intimate atmosphere and a broad fusion menu that will appease every palate. For example, how do you narrow down your appetizers between Korean Fried Chicken (the first photo), Bao Sandwiches, Lobster Shumai or Seoul Poutine? Then you have to decide on a main?!?! For me, I typically target the @cumbraes Ribeye with Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice but I decided to go for the Beijing Style Duck Breast served with a bao bun and cabbage wraps. There was no mistake leaving behind a favourite main, that’s a sign of a great menu. Also pictured you can see Chef Caleb’s Bibimbap with Beef served piping hot featuring a seared soy sauce, incredibly deep flavoured sushi and his wife’s scrumptious homemade Spanish Basque Cheesecake. Her prowess in the kitchen with sweets to finish the meal makes them the ultimate culinary couple in town! If I had a physical award I would walk it down there now to say, “Thank You. Not just for being my favourite restaurant to eat at but for making me look like a genius every time I send friends or followers there and they come back with rave reviews.” Hopefully this review will be a sufficient replacement to that trophy. Be sure to make a reservation, they were jammed on a Wednesday, it was wonderful to see. -Todd
